March Slave (4 eu, 4 tu)

Marche Slave was composed by Pytor Il'yich Tchaikovsky in 1876, during the war between Turkey and Serbia. The opening theme is one of melancholy, which is soon changed by strains of the Russian National Hymn into an impressive, purely Slavic march full of rhythm and color. This arrangement is for 8-part tuba-euphonium ensemble by George Palton.
