Casterede's Concertino is in three different movements. The piece starts out with a call and response between the trumpet and trombone. The rest of the piece sticks with the call and response style with little unison lines. The second movement is a slow beautiful piece that starts with a trombone solo and then goes into a trumpet solo. The third movement is another fast one that utlizes a lot of unison lines between the trumpet and trombone.
