Trumpet
O Come and Dwell In Me for Trumpet, Trombone, and Piano
Joseph Turrin
$20.95
"O Come and Dwell In Me" was written in memory of Robin Sullivan in 2006. Robin was the wife of Robert Sullivan, Assistant Principal Trumpet in the New York Philharmonic for many years. The work was premiered at a memorial service for Robin Sullivan by Philip Smith (trumpet) and Joseph Alessi (trombone). The title of the piece comes from the hymn tune by Charles Wesley (1707 - 1788). Musically this composition has no relation to the hymn itself except in the fact that it served as an inspiration.
