Four Dialogues for Euphonium and Marimba
Four Dialogues by Samuel Adler is a wonderful piece for anyone brave enough to attempt it. Adler is a modern composer from the United States, and his compositional style is contemporary. While technically this piece is a euphonium solo, the parts read more like a duet - with most of the technical facility coming from the marimba performer. Divided into four separate movements, this piece will challenge even the most experienced performer.
This piece has been recorded on Brian Meixner's new CD, Praxis (on the Potenza Music label) with Nathan Daughtrey and Gate City Percussion.
solo parts included: Euphonium BC
